Diagnosis (after De Baets et al., p. 33)

"Moderately large conch (dm r = 65 mm), umbilicus very wide

(uw/dm = 0.70-0~85), one or less complete whorl before

beginning of the uncoiling phase at a diameter

between 25 and 35 mm, very low aperture (WER=

~ 1.30 ). Umbilical window very large, open (UWH =

16.5-17.5 mm). Ornament with rursiradiate riblets

(55-80 per half-whorl, ARI20 = 15-28 > 20 mm dm)

and fine, parallel growth lines. Suture line with a widely

rounded lateral lobe and a low triangular internal

saddle, septa strongly bent dorsoventrally."
