Type species: Gracilites svetlanae Bogoslovskii, 1972, p.47 [OD].

Klug, 2001, p.503: Small to moderately sized advolute or evolute conch; with a small imprint zone. Whorl cross section subtrapezoidal, laterally flattened, venter tabulate to carinate. Wide umbilicus with moderately large umbilical window (2 mm). High to very high whorl expansion rate (2.1 to 3.2). Sculpture with smooth ribs with rursiradiate direction. Growth lines with a moderately deep external sinus, coarse on the venter and weak otherwise. Suture line with a small and narrow external lobe, a broad lateral lobe, and with a small triangular internal lobe; without septal lateral inflexions.

Comparisons (Klug, 2001, p.503): Very slender whorls, very narrow tabulate to carinate venter, and smooth sculpture are the most conspicuous characters of this genus separating it from Teicherticeras ERBEN 1960.
