1975 Asidoceras Ruzhentsev: 37.

Type species: Asidoceras nikolaevi Ruzhentsev, 1975, p. 38 [OD], only holotype known. Holotype 3088/17

[Ruzhentsev, 1975, p.37]: Shell oxyconic. Whorls highly involute. Umbilicus narrow. A groove that is distinct on early
whorls and blurred on late whorls is developed in the peripheral zone. Ventral lobe broad, with fairly high saddle and
with slightly diverging sides. It is followed (to the umbilical suture) by four lobes: the first is narrow, deep and tusklike,
the second is shorter and bidentate, the other two are small.

[Assignment to Prodromitidae questionable.]
