Type species: Riphaeoclymenia canaliculata Bogoslovskii, 1981, p.67 [OD].

A:   Conch form discoidal; venter with roundedly almost triangular cross-section, with two distinct grooves on each
      side; umbilicus wide.
C:   No ribs.
E:   Two spiral grooves on each flank.
G:   Ventral lobe bifid, with high rectangular saddle; lateral lobe almost rectangular, subacute. Umbilical lobe acute, dorsal
       lobe narrow.

     [Only holotype of type species known, a fragmentary specimen which does not display the ontogenetic development.
     Systematic relationship uncertain.]

[Bogoslovskii, 1958, p. 67, Riphaeoclymenia: Conch cadicone and evolute in early stages; in adult state - discoidal,
moderately evolute, with roundedly triangular whorls in cross -section, with four distinct spiral grooves, two of which
proceed on each side of the narrow, roundedly angled venter, the other two proceeding approximately on the middle
of the weakly convex lateral sides.  Umbilicus wide, saucer-shaped.  Lobe line forms a ventral, umbilical, inner lateral
and dorsal lobe.  Ventral lobe bifid, with high, subrectangular saddle; dorsal lobe narrow.]
