Type species: Rhymmoceras vermiculatum Ruzhentsev, 1958, p. 293 [OD].

A:   Conch form small, discoidal or vermicular, with wide umbilicus; ventral side well rounded.
B-C: Sculpture consisting of prominent transversal striae, with ventrolateral salient and shallow ventral sinus, crossing
longitudinal lirae thereby producing a reticulate ornamentation. Faint riblets may be present.
D:   Several constrictions common on each whorl.
G:   Ventral lobe relatively narrow, with roundedly divergent sides; first lateral saddle well rounded. Adventitious lobe
larger than ventral lobe, pointed.

[Ruzhentsev & Bogoslovskaia, 1971, p.337: Conch not large, discoidal and subophiocone
to subcadicone.  Whorls moderately evolute.  Umbilicus wide.  Sculpture is reticulated,
consisting of well developed lirae and ribs. Constrictions form a general salient which
is complicated by ventral and pre-umbilical sinuses.  Ventral lobe quite narrow to
relatively wide and weakly segmented.  Height of the median saddle ranges from one
third to one half of the height of the whole lobe.]
