[Shevyrev, 1965, p. 179]: Shell discoidal, flat, evolute. Cross-section of whorls from rectangular, higher than wide, to
quadrate. Venter slightly convex on young whorls and quite flat on body chamber. Coarse, straight or slightly bent ribs
intersect the flat flanks, falling sharply on the angular ventral border. On the inner whorls, ventral tubercles are
sometimes seen. Ventral lobe large, deep.This genus differs from other dzhulfitids in the absence of ventral tubercles
on the adult whorl.
