Type species: Dushanoceras rotalarium Zhao, Liang & Zheng, 1978, p.135; OD.

[Zhao et al., 1978]: Shell rather large, evolute and discoidal with the venter varying from fastigate in the early whorls to
flat or concave in the last volution and marked by reversed V-shaped ribs. Other characters also change greatly: the
median keel from prominent to weak; the whorl section from reversed trapezoid to high rectangular; the lateral sides
from inclining to flat; the ventro-lateral shoulder from subangular to angular; the transverse ribs on sides from strong to
fine; the ventro-lateral nodes from large, strong to small, weak and finally disappeared. Suture line ceratitic with long
and wide lobes.
