[Ruzhentsev 1962, p. 103, Avushoceras:
Conch top-shaped.  Venter flat, having three rounded keels and two grooves dividing them.  Lateral sides consist of two units:  a thin, flat outer and a much wider, slightly concave internal one.  These are divided by a slightly exprssed rib.  Umbilicus of average size (width/diameter = 0.18).  Ventral lobe extremely tight and short.  First saddle slightly wider than the ventral lobe.  First umbilical lobe not very wide, clearly two-parted, strongly serrated.  Second saddle wider and higher than first.   Second umbilical lobe slightly tighter and shorter than the first, serrated at base and high up on the external side.]
